"Winter Morning"

This one is based on a photograph I once took along the road on my way to work.
The low sun was shining on those trees while the fog was still obscuring the fields beyond, making the little canal disappear into nothingness. Quite an odd sight.
I used more traditional methods of painting here, without the big brushes.
Cobalt Blue was used in the sky and water and Burnt Sienna in the bushes and here and there on the tree trunks to give them a warmer look.
No Sap Green, all greens were mixed using blue and yellow or ochre.

The image came out a bit fuzzy here. Hmmm...
So hard to take decent photographs. One time it works like a charm, another time, taking the photo at the same spot in the room, it comes out meh...
