"Winter Morning"

Based on a photograph I took this past winter one of the rare snowy days we've had.
Painted it in 3 sessions, each session was wet-on-wet.
Used a 1-inch brush to paint the base colours in the sky and everything else was painted using different sizes of filbert brushes.
The different shades of blue were made using Ultramarine, Cobalt and Cerulean. And even a spot of Phtalo Green in the sky.
I just added another version of the image. The first one had odd lines in it that are not in the painting itself. Must be the photograph...
This looks quite a challenge, loads of depth and subtle changes throughout. Fabulous.
