Getting the highlights with gouache just right wasn't easy. But, I wanted to treat this as a bit of a study before I try the real deal with my master paint kit. It was a great way to paint my first weekend of freedom from the school year. I think I will definitely continue this series of "studies" before painting with oils. I like the results! 🎨👍
