Painted after a tutorial by Nil Rocha. I really enjoyed this as it is so different from other paintings.
It isn’t so easy to get strong dark and light contrast with watercolors as they are transparent. Here a lot of pigment has been used, almost straight from the tube. And a bristle brush has been used to get the foliage.
Really nice to do.
