I have always been attracted by desert sceneries. But this was the first time I took on such a painting in oils.
My knowledge about desert is very little but I think I was able to capture a similar feeling like Bill did. I like the blueish trees he put in at the end and I like the whole color scheme. Also the phtalo green he put into the sky here.
Normally I am quite fast with Bills tutorials as I was able to learn his technique during the last 13 months. But this took me a lot of time. Almost 4 hours. Normally I am in the 2 hours range.
I hope you enjoy this very different scene too.
