I am back with a new oil painting :)
I did my last one in October. Currently we have very cold temperatures, thus I will only try to paint scenes that can be finished very fast. This one is from Bill‘s yellow, red and blue series. Means it just uses those colors and black as well as white. It took me about 80 minutes as I felt a bit rusty after so long time without oils. As I paint outside in an unheated garage, my fingers got a bit stiff after an hour but it was still ok.
Oils on canvas panel 24 x 20 inches (60 x 50 cm)
Thanks Dirk, I tried my best after so long time. Unfortunately the photo is not the best as I see now. It had 3 degrees Celsius on Friday when I painted this :)

Great clouds and I very much like the colours.
Orange + blue is a good combo imho.

Thank you Nancy, I like paintings with strong dark /light contrasts, that is one of my favorite topics as well as complementary colors. This paintings has it both.
Thank you Cold. It is not mentioned explicitly at Bills YouTube Channel. But there are some episodes available like 'Terra Incognita' or 'The Sun rises at blue lake' which use only these colors. I guess if you search those on his home page if available then there it is mentioned.
