Mountain Water Runoff - Bill Alexander

Tom0779 24 Feb 2023

Fresh from the easel. I have been in a hurry today to paint something so I tried that one from Bill.
Quite a nice episode which I finished in 80 minutes. Bill has a different final picture on his homepage for a lot of his episodes. That picture is often different and more detailed as the TV one.
Here he added some blue spots in the homepage version and I took that idea over. Kinda like that blue bushes. 😀

Hey Tom , 80 min. sind sportlich 😁As always, very clean work, super clouds and trees. I don't know this episodeI but i like it very much 👍🏼

Thanks Dirk. I think this one is a bit more loose than my others. I had to finish early as we have some plans for the evening😀
This is an episode which was posted longer ago. I discovered it recently and I wanted to paint it.

Understand Tom , i search for this Episode to have a look at it 👍🏼😎

Love this...so beautiful and your details are always so crisp and clean!

I Looooooove this one Tom! I can’t pick favorite things in your painting… all is perfect! 80 mins, that’s incredible! Great job!

Many thanks Brian.

Thank you Nancy, normally I would have taken more time for it, but was in a hurry😀 but good to see how fast I can do it.

First of all Guten Morgen Tom, second i found the Video and third any idea to make liquid Black ? I probably only need it once .Now to work like every Saturday, have a nice weekend😎

Good morning Dirk. Great you found the video. Regarding the liquid black, there is an article available how to make it.
I was to lazy for that so I bought a small can of it. I use it also to sign most of my paintings.

Thanks Tom, found ! Sounds easy

Great, good luck!

😎👍🏼

Good one Tom!
I like the roughness of it. I also like the fact that the blue of the mountain is also used in the bushes in the foreground. That's a good trick to make everything come together.
(I really should have a look at Bill's video's. He has painted very nice scenes.)

Thank you Titia. Bills paintings are more rough than Bob’s. This is a general observation I have. I like his tutorials very much as I think they have more diversity. And he has a more loose style.

Very good!

Thank you Coldethel.
