First new painting since two weeks. This one was done after a tutorial available at Bill‘s YouTube channel.
I have been in mood for a winter scene and this one spoke to me as it uses some nice colors (mauve against orange-yellow in the sky) and it did not seem to be very complicated.
Was fun to paint again. I think the outcome is ok after the pause.
It took me around 100 minutes.
Oils on canvas panel 20 x 28 in (50 x 70 cm)
What a beautiful sky. May I ask what brand orange you use?

Thank you Tomi. The orange is Permanent Orange from Lukas1862 brand. But it is not used purely here. I brush-mixed it with Cad yellow and Titanium white.

You are welcome Tomi. BTW: I use Lukas1862 a lot, they are my favorite brand of oil colors. Especially the Titanium white I like a lot, it is much firmer than other brands.
