My first Oil painting since October 2024.
I choose this one from Bill because I thought it might be a good start. It is a knife-only picture (except sky and water tint) and uses just a few colors.
I wanted to use a strong blue and dark tress to get the contrast of the highlighted mountains.
I think I am ok with a first oil painting since such a long time and I hope I will be able to paint more in the future.
This is oils on canvas panel 30 x 40 cm.

This is fabulous Tom, your colour choice works really well, I hope you enjoyed it. It took me ages to get round to tackling knife only painting, I did a couple and I found them fascinating. You should try sky and water with the knife sometime, you'll be surprised!
