Original Creation

Winter Barn - Peter Sheeler

Tom0779 31 Aug 2023

One of my personal favorites I made with watercolors. This has been painted after an other tutorial by Peter Sheeler.
The difference to others is that no ink has been used here. Only pencil drawings which you can hardly see.
A5 sized on Arches paper.

It seems it is much softer without ink. Very beautiful painting Tom!

Coole Arbeit, Tom . SchΓΆne Schatten gesetzt . Top πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ήcool work ,Great !

Thank you Sunny. Well the ink should show if you are using it. It is part of the technique. It has its own charm I think πŸ˜€

Many thanks Dirk!

Super! I love your watercolors Tom!

Superb Tom! 🀩😍 This old barn reminds me of sugar shacks. I used to go every early spring to get my maple syrup fix when I was a kid.

BTW, I have watched the YouTube link you sent me. I love Frank! I will def try watercolors soon!

Thank you Brian, I am glad you like my watercolors. I will start a new series of them very soon πŸ˜€

Many thanks Nancy. You are from Canada right? As far as I know Peter Sheeler is also from Canada, so that scene might be typical for this country I guess.
Frank was a very good start for me. Even I knew Bob since long time it was Frank who finally made me start painting. I started with watercolors because only little equipment is needed. And cleaning is so easy.
If you have any questions please let me know anytime.πŸ˜€

I love this so much! I can really feel the sun's warmth.

Thank you Pam, the cool thing on watercolors is that you can leave the paper blank and just add dark around and it looks like light is striking.
