This is taken out of the book ‚The magic of Oil Painting III‘ by Bill Alexander. The tutorial should be also available at YouTube.
I changed the scene a bit here and there (e.g. added some fog beyond the mountains and made it more like a fall scene) but basically the main idea stayed the same.
