Another day

Well for a change I didn't paint a Bob painting. I wanted a glowing sky, mountains and pine trees. It took me a whole day to paint this, also because it's a bit bigger than usual (45×60 instead of my standard 40x50 canvas). I put less liquid white on than usual, I think it's better because it was much easier to get multiple layers of paint to stick. I like the contrast in the sky, warm vs. cold. The back mountains are a bit too dark. I'm still not completely happy with the middle ground, those foothills... I loved painting the big trees. All in all it was a happy painting day and I'm satisfied with the result.
