I'm planning on painting a painting much like this one - this was a quick practice to see if the composition works. I'm not sure about the stream, does it even fit in? Should I add a big rock at the waterfall? Any suggestions on improving pine trees? How to achieve more depth and distance in the grassy areas? 🤔 Any ideas are welcome...
I really like where you have placed the stream. I am pretty much a complete newbie, so I can't offer any advice.
Compostion looks good!
If any comments, I might suggest a little less blue in the water and perhaps take the left tree all the way to the top!

I think definitely keep the tree on the left and do it exactly like what you have here, I love it!
