Contrasts

I wanted to paint something simple with a bright sky reflected in the water, so I used lots of yellows and pinks for the sky. The background trees were fun to paint. I'm slowly getting the hang of painting grassy areas. I still smoetimes have problems making paint stick and stand out from the background😞 Painting the big trees was fun, I feel like they're standing on opposite banks, arguing over something 🤔 I wanted to make one long and soft and fluffy, and the other two sharp and pointy and crooked. All in all it was fun to paint again 😁
