I figured i have trouble painting the middle ground. I think I mostly learned how to paint mountains and the big trees in front, but don't really know how to connect one and the other, so the painting kind of looks disconnected. I guess I'll just have to practice.

I think it works. That line of evergreens works well as a middle, especially because the reflection in the water is so well done.
