One more African landscape. Once it's dry I'll add two monkeys getting to know each other on the rightside tree. Then the title of the painting will make more sense. I had fun painting this. Love the blending and painting branches.

Love your work I think your African landscapes are beautiful. I also look forward to seeing how you do a leopard or monkey as well. Prior to painting my art was limited to stick figures :). I would love to learn how to paint in animals. I saw a Ross episode on adding people but they were pretty embedded into the background. I guess it would come down to practice for me. One of these days:). Excellent work!

Happyisland thanks for your nice words 😁 I must say I'm not comfortable with painting silhouettes at all. So I first find a suitable silhouette on the internet, then I draw it into the painting with a pencil and only then I paint it in. It's quite a lot of work but I think the animals really bring these paintings alive.
The leopard tried to eat the monkey but it managed to escape 🤔🐒
I love them both! They bring it all together and the painting couldn't have been better!
