I had some leftover paint so I painted a quick little scene. I love those giraffes.

Toadi I find the silhouettes on the internet and then I more or less copy them into the painting. I'm not much good when it comes to drawing (or painting) animals on my own.

Umagaan, thanks for your comments on my painting. I wanted to comment here because the other day I picked up something based on what you mentioned about tracing the silhouettes of animals into your paintings. I’m sure I’m late to the game with this but I picked up a projector that displays onto the canvas a tracing for an animal. Or anything else. I haven’t given it a try yet (need special lightbulb for it) but I’m eager to try it out. Your animals impress me. Hopefully I can get beyond stick figures :)
