I had some time and some leftover paint so I reused an old canvas and had a little practice session. I think I more or less learned how to make fanbrush clouds, these are a bit difficult to see because the sky is very light, but they are quite fluffy. I need to work on my mountains. I should have painted a few more ridges and cliffs to give them more depth. Maybe one day I'll follow Bob's advice and paint a canvas full of mountains. But at least the mist below the mountain looks quite well. I love the tree trunk on the leafy tree. I need to work some more on the pine trees so that I'll be able to paint evergreens at sunset. Need to keep working on improving the grassy areas. I like the water and the twigs in the foreground. All in all I had a fun two hours. And ironically I almost like this painting more than the one I did last week - and that took me 5 hours to finish. Maybe I was simply more relaxed today?

I like the two layers of distant trees.

I like the clouds too. Well done. Mine never seem as fluffy as they appear in the videos, but I bought a true blender brush and it's so much softer than I realized. I'm excited to try.

Thanks jeremiah11719 🤗

RosoLima glad you like them. I think with the clouds it's also important that the paint is thick enough. I always put my titanium white on a cardboard to dry. And then I use just a little bit of paint. And I try to practice as much as possible. I also use my softest brush for blending. Good luck trying out your new brush 😊
