I have never painted in my life. I think you can see it. The positive thing first, I finally started painting and had fun. But nothing really worked. The clouds are too big, otherwise I still like them best with the mountains. The reflections were terrible, as were the trees. I couldn't paint anything on top of the previous color. It just didn't hold. That's why I couldn't go into the details at the end, the entire front layer was just mud. In the end I really was a typical mud mixer. BUT it's my painting, I'm proud of it. Hopefully it's the start of a long journey and I'll look back on it with a smile one day.

maybe the base layer of liquid white was too thick? That has caused me problems with mud as well.

darauf komme ich sicher bei Zeiten zurück. Ein paar interessante Artikel habe ich schon gelesen und vor allem viele Tolle Bilder. Auf meiner langen Liste an Motiven steht dein Büffel Bild auch ganz weit oben. Dir auch frohe Weihnachten.

Nice first! Don't be hard on yourself at this point. It takes some practice to learn to paint. There are many wonderful artists her to help you on your way.
