Big mountain- Bill Alexander

Waywarddestiny 28 Feb 2023

My first Bill painting. I don't mind his tangents lol when he gets fired up like that reminds me of a Baptist pastor in a way. All that fire in his soul like he likes to say.

Good Morning from Germany, Sherina. Nice work. One thing catches my eye. The reflection in the water is a bit bigπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌ

I like that there are much more Bill paintings now. I think he was a really nice guy. But I think he was a bad business man, because almost all the technique known as the Bob Ross wet on wet technique was his invention.
However you did a nice job here.

Thats the truth , TomπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Ž

I loved the way he thought about his paintings and laid them out. They are not so cookie cutter so to speak. Perspectives i never would have thought of. He fire's up my creativity. But i did get carried away with my reflection I misfired lol. Good morning from the east coast of the USA.

You did so well here Sherina! Great sky and that mountain is mighty (like Bill would say).

Very pretty Sherina! Terrific colors on the highlight and Shadow sides of that big mountain. I have also been watching many Bill Alexander videos lately. And I agree with you Tom about the history and also about seeing more of his paintings on here. He does paint so many mountains, which are not my personal favorite subject, but I did watch this video and I really like it a lot!

Thank you Nancy dose my heart good!

Thank you Pam his study of light and dark fascinates me the most. I mean Bob always says it but Bill really goes in to it. It's really what this painting was about for me, that and I love mountains lol. I agree I'm so glad to see the papa of it all on here. As far as the history of it all it's just really messed up that nether one made good business men! One felt betrayed and had every right to feel that way I'm sure. And the other had everything torn from him and his family to this day they don't get nothing. I guess artist are so focused on art they don't see everything around them but what they want to see.

I love when Bill says "as dark is the dark, is as light is the light". lol. And just like proper perspective in art makes sense, so does it in life. But people forget that. Everyone who creates has something worth sharing.

So true Pam! So very very true!!!!I couldn't have said it better myself! πŸ₯°πŸ˜ŠπŸ₯°
