This was my 7th painting. Had been sent a painting with similar composition and was told to see what I could do with it. Might be based off one of bobs but not sure which one. Anyway. This was what I came up with. Was my breakthrough painting!!
Very nice WD. The big tree on the right almost has a weeping willow look to it. Nice definition to the bushes. Looks like you had lots of paint on the brushes when forming those bushes. That is the key to getting nice bushes I believe. Nice fade on the way back mountain.
Great job layering the bushes. That little separation of dark color is what gives them depth.
