Super! Amazing!
Do you mind to take picture at day light outside in the shadow and post it again?

I really want to look at it at it's most beauty.

Did you paint it by looking at the scene? And then adding people? Or you used a photo reference?

Hi ya sunny lady , the picture is a composite I can go out and get you a picture of the tree line and field. It actually has a river in the fields out the back. I just made an image up but happy to try and get you a photo.. I painted from memory have been there many times.
On the oil over acrylic thing the chap that I was watching is called Chuck Black Art he is on you tube does absolutely amazing paintings, I am trying to find the video where he talks about oils over acrylics but I have watched a few ... its right at the end and has a green truck in it. when I have found it I will send you the link. He uses acrylics as underpainting for oils .. thank you for your comment . I started a rainy day version toddy only managed the sky and the clouds .. happy painting

David thanks for the name! I will check it out.

Composite painting, that's Creativity!
I meant if you could take picture of your painting outside at day time, but in the shadow.
This is best light for the paintings.

David, it turns I watched coupled of Chuck's videos n the past, i found few with green truck but could not locate where he talks about acrylics with oil.
It would be very interesting to see it, especially if he speaks about how long the combined media will survive. I'd love some of my paintings survived more than 50 years. I am sure that technologies will develop sooner or later that will allow us to enjoy beauty of combined media and keep paintings for great-great-great children.

The clouds are actually fantastic to my eyes. I have all sorts of difficulties with my cloud work. These are great. The painting reminds me of the fields behind my parent's house where I grew up. Nice piece. 👍

This is just great. I love it.

David, here is the link to the video, I think you may find it helpful as we just discussed it.
I like this guy, he explains things very well and I even did one still life according to his method. This still life stands out of all my paintings as it is not from the photo and from real life.

Froggie thank you for your comments. I am still working on clouds this was my first attempt with acrylics and clouds. I am just painting another copy of this which is more sunlit. I tried to watch jerry Yarnell videos he does a good job, try watching and see if he helps. Thanks again Happy painting

Sunnylady thank you for the link I will watch it. I have not managed to locate Chuck Black video yet as most of them are 2-3 hours long. I am attempting a very similar version with sunlit clouds. I am not sure how to change the photo on the website but will keep looking. Thanks again

LJm Paintings .. Thank you for your kind comment .. I like your paintings and techniques as well happy painting and stay safe

You cannot change photo of the posted painting , you have to re-post. But i think there is better idea you can create an article so people can see difference between two photos and your thoughts about that difference. Article would be the best way to go I think.
