DavidF - this is great painting. Very realistic one! I like that you have light pinks in the sky that allow your greenery to stand out even more. Absolutely support everything said here. Incredible light and shadows, trees are great and control of value is fantastic.

Thank you jays creativity .. It’s funny how splodges of paint can mimic things isn’t it .. will keep trying to get the hang of it .. I wish I could have a go with oils again or try acrylics and oils like Kevin hill did in this painting.. your paintings are amazing .. keep up the hobby .. you are doing absolutely brilliantly!

I agree with what you say about the brushes and am doing my best .. but with lockdown still going decided to invest in some better brushes as it’s very hard to control things .. but in the U.K. we have a saying “ a bad workman always blames his tools “ !!! :) :) still enjoying watching how paint splodges form different textures .. hope you are well love you’d latest paintings .. amazing all the best
