Sorry been out all day. Thank you all for your comments, pleased people like it.. the guy is called James Julier (sorry not Julian as in my title) and the tutorial was called Ocean Sunrise, I found him on you tube. I will get the link and post it .. Happy painting..

Thanks Marcos . I enjoy trying to make things look realistic using this media... its funny the strokes are nothing like reality but you brain does the translation ... been messing around with just dots as it fascinates me how the brain interprets things ... happy painting to you
