Still life attempt

Hi ya nimoum .. pleased you like it.. there’s only so many rivers , trees and sunsets one can do .. it takes a bit of getting used too but in essence is exactly the same principles as acrylic and oil with a bit more control on the blending.. I used to paint with my finger .. but bought an ipencil (!) I think that’s what it’s called .. that’s a game changer !! !happy painting to you

David hi, It looks beautiful! Was it set in front of you ? The photographic quality of the fruits against quite abstract background looks so interesting and gives food for thinking and seeing and switching between background and the main subjects. Maybe because the color of background is quite active? I am not sure, but i like it. I also like you have the reflected light from the table on the pear.
I am asking if this still live was in front of you - coz it seems that even color temperature is really well managed i think i am missing a bit of brown reflections in the white jar from the table and surroundings.
I really like that you selected only one source of light it adds a bit of drama and makes it more artistic.

Congrats with the first still life, you did awesome job. Please continue with more still lives because this one looks great!

Sorry sunny lady.. only just seen your comments.. no I used reference photos and pulled it together from those .. I agree about the reflected light on the jug .. had a quick go ate improving it see attached .. happy painting to you .. just uploaded some pears .. tried to make them look old .. not that successfully .. til the next one
