My sister has just bought a flat looking over the River Thames and I have a river out the back of my house. I went for a walk and as its spring it looked very pretty. I havent really tried painting a river so had a go.. here it is. I like the greens.

Thanks dellajoy .. i am pleased you like it .. I am going to work on the river a bit more .. but I am pleased it sort of looks like a river .. I found it harder with acrylics than using the Bob rods oils .. happy painting

@David - you have a great eye and your work on values is always good. I am happy you keep painting while away from your home, this helps to avoid getting rusted and even lets to learn new things. Keep moving forward, you are on a very nice track.
Thank you sunnylady.. actually don't know when I will get home at the moment, been nearly a year now. Might buy some oil paints from amazon while I am here. Would like to try them again as its difficult to get acrylics to blend as well... Happy painting .. love your work as always
