I wanted to get one last painting in before the new year. This is my favorite subject, Mt. Rainer. I used the foreground from Scenic Seclusion, mixed with some cliffs and trees from a Nic Hankins tutorial. I like the way it turned out.

Gosh, it has been 17 years since I last saw/visited Mount Rainier. Although all of Washington state was far more worried then by the fact that MT. St- Helens started smoking again the day of my visit. Police didn't allow anyone nearer then 3 miles!
