My brother requested a painting of Mt. Rainer. He wanted me to add a field of wildflowers. This was my best attempt but I don’t think it’s great. Bob Ross never seemed to add that much detail to his paintings so did not have a good strategy.
I'm already dazzled with the mountain! I saw this one close up while staying in Washington state in October 2005. It did not have my full attention then though since Mount St-Helens started smoking there that day!
Luckely .... only for one day this time!

Wow, mountain is absolutely awesome! For flowers on the grass I would recommend to do research of the old artists and zoom in how the flowers are done. Digging through the old paintings gives a lot of training to the eye.
