I've experienced a few wildfires in my life and have found them simultaneously frightening and aesthetically profound. It is a topic I have occasionally explored using landscape painting tools I picked up, in part, from Bob Ross.

I am speechless. It looks awesome and scary.
I really like how you showed the smoke and all the trees that are overtaken by power of fire.
I think it is incredible mix of feelings this painting gives to the viewer.
How large is that canvas?
Thank you for the very nice comments, I am glad you appreciate the work.
It is 20x12 inches (~50x30cm) painted on panel
I like this misty effect you created. It looks like a "William Turner type" picture. I am stunning that one can create such effects with oils, maybe because I have no experience with that medium, I thought the best is to take watercolors for these kind of paintings.
The painting does pull a mixture of emotions from this viewer. It's beautifully painted. I love paintings that make me 'feel'. Really excellent!
You've opened a new frontier with these few works. And this work seems ink painting.
this is hauntingly beautiful
