My version came out more blue (colors are bolder in person also) than violet like Buck's, but I still think the overall impression of the composition is there. On 11 x 14, I painted this one quickly (just under 1 hour); trying to stay loose. I actually like the way Buck paints; jumping around with his colors, blocking in shapes with lights and darks. Definitely a fun one!
The intro on the video is also neat to watch. Bill and Buck are walking around outside (at this place) talking about the composition. Bill asks Buck if he could paint it in a winter version even though it is summer when they are there. Thus, this painting "Imagination" was the product!

Gorgeous Pam! 😍 I agree with Dirk. Buck has a style that is a lot looser than most artists under BA's umbrella. It's great to try different styles/techniques.

Beautiful work Pam! One of my favs of Paulson’s and I agree with you. I like his style of jumping around and focusing on blocking color then blending. Nicely done :)
