Original Creation

Koffee

flippergirlpaints 01 Feb 2022

A commission 18x24 for a diehard Pokémon fan who grew up in the 90's. He is putting it on the wall over his fancy coffee machine (of course). It was fun to do and VERY different for me! The black is acrylic, but the rest is oils. I know it would have been so easy with all acrylic, but I do not have any colors (only black and white). Is overall brighter looking in person.

Great painting, but I really wouldn't drink Koffing coffee :D

"Koffing is a Poison Gas Pokémon. Its body is purple and spherical with a skull and crossbones on the lower parts of its body. It has openings that allow gases to escape. A Koffing will spew a harmless gas if its happy, and a poisonous gas if it's angry. Koffing mainly eats rotten kitchen garbage."

Thanks Jesse!
Thank you Voy - and YES I LOVE me that morning cup of joe!!
TY also, Felix! And hahaha - I am VERY familiar with Koffing and all pokemon, as my boys all played the cards when they were younger in the 90's. Even recently (about 3 yrs ago) I actually played Pokémon go with them (all in their 20's LOL) and we had a blast! It was a great way to spend time hanging out (and we were really good too!) This "meme" on Koffing is super weird to me also!

The 3 weeks after Pokemon Go was released and everyone was out and about playing it was the absolute best time ever and nobody can convince me otherwise. 😁
