Sorry for the duplicates!! Issues with the reference pic I think, so uploading this without reference photo. This is a commissioned pet portrait - Mabel, a Grand Mastiff. This one took me a bit longer to do (about 8 hours) The fawn colored fur was challenging and needed several layers and her black skin jowls were a bit difficult.

This is fantastic painting! Also fantastic this is a commission! Such a realistic dog and fur. The eyes look sad but ears are relaxed. Looks like he misses his owner.

Another lovely painting from you Flippergirl with an excellent likeness. Haha sunny, that's exactly how he looks. Or maybe he is having to sit there watching the cat eating his favourite doggy treats, he knows if he interferes she will swipe him across his face so he just has to sit and watch. That's what used to happen in our house.
