Razzle Dazzle

The colors in this one were planned but the overall composition was originally intended to be more Bob's style. After painting the sky (a vibrant sunset which looked horrible LOL!), I scraped it off and brushed it out (like Bob's episode "Happy accident"). Loosely sketched land looked so good in the purple, I decided to go more impressionist with this one!

I like how you did it and that muted green looks so great here against that orange colors. I think it is a success!

Thanks everyone! Those colors sure brighten up a rainy day (where I live)

This one screams Leonid Afremov! He's one of my favorites. Great job!

Thanks Tomi, that's a great compliment! I LOVE his work as well. Palette knife work is so fun for me - but it uses a TON of paint! This one is just brushes πŸ˜›

Wow, the color contrasts dazzle!

Loving this.
Great colours, with the orange sunset colours and the cooler grey/greenish colours for the foreground, which is deeper into the forest shadows.

Thanks so much Jon and Titia!

The outcome is amazing Pam! Love how you let it take you there! From the vibrant & beautiful colors to the style of this painting, this is a little Jewl.

Looks good.

Thank you Nancy. Learning to "go with it" has come easier for me with time (I am a perfectionist at nature πŸ˜–)
