Painted from imagination and wanted to keep it quite simple yet full of technique. I enjoyed the creation of the water, even though it was a struggle to get the waves correct in the beginning. The palm leaves were awesome to do, using white spirit as a thinner to make the paint like ink, it flowed really nicely and gave the impression of wind blowing.
Tip for water- make sure your water is outlined when its nearest the beach, as it may not be clear where the water starts and the beach ends :)
