Painted this as a tribute to Bob on the third anniversary of my first attempt at oil painting. Haven't painted in the Bob style in quite a while, as I've been studying more traditional methods lately, so this was a really fun way to spend an afternoon.
It's based on a photo I took last year on a hike at at Mount Rainier National Park. The peak isn't actually visible from the falls, but as Bob likes to say, with painting, you can move mountains.
