Yeah, I’ve been meaning to develop a new system for taking pictures of paintings after I finish. I’m just so afraid to move it much when it’s done. Normally I at least crop it better than what I’ve done, but was just feeling lazy.

I’ve seen this a few times and I have a suggestion. The background (not the painting) may not be ideal for a picture because it’s a little busy. If you took a new picture of your painting on a different background I bet it would jump out.
I really like this painting though once I got passed the background. I like your play of greens. Light to dark. Uniformity of color but different shades. Very pretty.
