Why thank you! Stars were made by flicking a small amount of liquid white off a fan brush with a knife. Very similar to doing the falling snow effect.

I’ve been wanting to do a night scene with stars like this for a while. This looks great! How did you do the stars? I was thinking of trying a black canvas with white gesso spots for stars
