The one aboveis mine. The one below is John Avon’s ‘Sunset Mountain’ (Mirage #346). This was the first piece I’ve seen of this iconic Magic: the Gathering artist. There’s some things I like about mine better, and some I like about his better. Wet on wet oil painting lends itself to creating fog better, so I really embellished those parts of my painting more.
