Newbeginnings posted this painting a few weeks ago and allowed me to take a shot at it. I really appreciate the idea of the painting and enjoyed trying to make it work. As far as the painting, this is the first time I've tried hills with a fan brush and clouds still are hard for me. Not sure what I'm missing.
oh I have been waiting for this! It is beautiful, I love the distant mountain and the cross is overlooking everything(felt mine didnt do that) Thank ,you for doing this it is wonderful. Your clouds are good, the only thing I might try is adding another layer underneath of a slightly darker color and blend, might add alittle more depth to the cloud.
That cross certainly commands attention! Nicely done.
