Folowing Brandon Thomas "painting with magic" show. Not so happy with the bushes in front.

Hay Jimi, are you serious? If you don't like those bushes, many would love to take them. It looks like you have mastered the Bob Ross technique.

I'm not sure why you don't like the way the bushes turned out, they have a lot of detail in them and contrasting dark areas which is great. If you turn your brush in different directions then your bushes would look more random, more varied, and less uniform. Your evergreen trees are particularly nice.

Thanks you'r right , but if you look other paintings of mine you will understand why im not so pleased.

I think you nailing bushes method in every painting, but in this particular one they are the best of all. You have 3 values in them and direction of light coming from the left and they have some variety of shapes. Your highlights here are looking calm and muted which is very good. However to grow to your next step try to vary a bit the touch and direction as you get rhythms.

Overall it is impressive you figured out bushes so fast! Great job!
