15 cm x 20 cm, oil on canvas board. As the name suggests, a "knife only" attempt. I watched Bill Alexander paint a knife-only scene with thick Ti white as the base coat and wanted to try something similar. The hard board made for heavy work; I mixed plenty of mud, but it was fun!
