11" x 14" oil on canvas. Inspired by an award-winning photo by Aaron Martinez in New Mexico Magazine (2019). I added the yucca and took other liberties. Started with some black gesso in parts, then liquid clear and various grey shades (2:1 VD brown and Prussian blue with Ti white). Thanks for visiting!
