After the egret (we call it a silver heron in NL) I also had to do the blue heron, acrylics background, taken from a photo made by myself, the color of the beak can change during the breeding season (red and the egret's beak turns black), but normally it's colored yellow, the upper part of the beak was ideal for the "let-the-paint-break-technique" and the palletknife, but the paint didn't break, so I had to put in some dark holes afterwards, on wallpaper of 29,7 x 21 cm (A4 format).
