Taken from a picture of the app for recognizing bird sounds (Merlin), although I already knew the sound of this little blue bird, in NL we call it a 'pimpelmees', using liquid white and oil for the two sessions, one for the background and the body of the bird, one for the leg(s) and the underground. I liked the orange-like background (done with a mix of white, ochre, red and sienna) in combination with the blue and yellow colors of the bird, on wallpaper of 29,7 x 21 cm (A4 format).
This bird looks as if it were truly alive. Awesome work！
