This beautiful scene is taken from "The Beauty of Oil Painting", serie 2 episode 2. The background was done in acrylics with black and red, linseed oil as medium, then the bird itself in oils, on wallpaper of 30 x 40 cm, lot of fun and not as difficult as expected!
