A year ago I painted this tutorial (not uploaded that time, on canvasboard 24x30 cm, see picture 2) of Nic Hankins, I wanted to retry on some larger canvas, now on stretched canvas 30x40 cm; I wanted my background waves less straight and the highlight on the weed more visible. Because the canvas was not really tight, it was a hard job to get the foamlines right on the beach.
I agree, this is beautiful! I love the colors, especially that green.
Looks very nice. I think the second one came out a bit better. Especially the weeds.
