This lovely scene is taken from a timelapse video of a painting in acrylics, I was a bit confused which technique I should use: Bob's or the one from the video, but also the many layers are not so easy to do in oil, one of these days I will do it again in acrylics too and will attach a picture of it, if done and the result is not too bad, this one in oils is on wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm.
18 Apr: added a picture of my attempt done in acrylics, also on wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm.
Hey Jos, brilliant work. The houses remind me of scenes that Bill painted. TopππΌπ©πͺπ³π±
Soft and beautiful, well done!
Super amazing JosβοΈ
Super well done Jos! Would love to spend some vacation there xD love the super soft feel this one has and the red highlights on the mountain just make a huge difference! The sky is beautiful!! Are those some steps outside the houses? Well they feel like steps to me, amazing little detail i think!! As always, super work Jos!
Thank you for all remarks Elsie, Dirk (yeh I remember from Bill a lot of paintings with houses), Kerri, Brian and Eduardo (I doubted about it too, in the original it's not clear to me, so I created indeed some steps before the house, glad you recognized it).
Great scene J.Love that big ol mountain!
Fantastic! Love the mountains!
Brilliant work Jos. I had the same experience with my Sunny Morning by Victor, converting it was great fun.
Thank you very much P, Sandy and Helen (yes agree, but changing of technique can be confusing).
Very well done! Beautiful!
Thank you very much Stephanie!

Thank you Pam, yeh a typical Bill composition, but not from him!
