Original Creation

Northern Lights for Beginners - Paul Ranson

joha59 11 May 2023

One of my first Bob Ross paintings contained also these lights, but I used too thin paint and did not really know how to perform the painting of the lights. Paul gave me in his tutorial of two parts new tools and hints to make these wonderful lights better, but as always, I think there are still improvements possible, the reflection in the water is too light in my opinion, but the most important of all, I enjoyed the lessons of Paul and the effort to create this wonderful episode, on stretched canvas 40 x 30 cm, black gesso, thin layer of liquid clear and the colors PtBlue, PtGreen, AlCrimson and white.

Hey Jos , in my eyes it is super . Like Bill said, „Darkness brings the Werwolf out“😎

Haha Dirk, glad you saw him and he did not see you!

Silverbullets are loaded, just to be careful 😎

Really nice Jos! Love the style of the wolf too! Awesome!

Beautiful. I think the reflections are just right!

Really beautiful and love the wolf!

Nice!

Thank you very much Brian, Tomi (that was the part I had the most doubt about so thanks for your opinion), Sandy (watch out for him!) and Cold!

Awesome work, I love the wolf!

Thanks Tom, but I doubt he loves you too!
