Never ever had the thought of doing a flower painting (!), but Helen's beautiful version of this painting inspired me to watch the video of this episode of "The Beauty of Oil Painting" Serie 3 Episode 3 (never heard of these series before) on YT and I liked the free and rough way of painting. An easy background in acrylics and when dry a tin layer of linseed oil and paint with oils the fowers, with rapid one-stroke-leaves, half circles in the daisies, he makes it (look) so simple, but reality seems, as expected, different. I especially liked the colors in this painting, my one time ever attempt (to be honest, this was my second attempt of this painting, just to try it, ONCE!) was done with cheap synthetic brushes and no power-pigment-paint, on canvasboard of 30x24 cm.
So beautiful!

Beautiful Jos. Now I'm gonna have to up my game! π€£ If you feel like doing more of these, watch his missus paint, she explains it so well. I use thick Bob Ross paint on mine, just thinned it down, it works well enough for my needs. I'm glad I inspired you to have a go. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
