Since a long time I used the 1 inch brush for the big trees in this tutorial of Bill Alexander (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LYnldFA4mA) which was a great excercise in painting moving water of a wild river. On canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
Wow the water looks so good. What brush did you use to do the waves?
Many thanks Brain and Jeff, I used the fanbrush with mostly upward strokes for the water movements and the waves, just as Bill did.
Love the subtle sky and trees1 The rocks are good and the moving water looks really fast!
